Format

  • Maximum size: 45″ wide x 47″ high (114 cm x 119 cm)
  • Display setup: Posters will be displayed on 8 ft wide x 4 ft high boards, with two posters side by side on each board. Please stay within the maximum size so there is enough room for your neighbor‘s poster.
  • There are no printing services near the venue, so please print your poster before you travel.
  • If you do not want people to take pictures of your poster, please include this image (or equivalent) in your poster, make sure it is clearly visible at the top of your poster.

Poster Number

Your abstract submission number is not your poster number. You can find your poster number on your Oxford Abstracts dashboard (on your abstract PDF) and on this list.

Upon your arrival at the conference venue

Posters should be hung on the first day of the conference, preferably during the morning break or before the start of the sessions and removed at the end of the conference on the third day, no later than 5:00pm.

  • Check-in opens on Tuesday 3 November at 8:00am
  • Pick up your badge
  • Look for your poster number on the Message Board
  • A Conference Volunteer (identified by their blue name tag) will be available to help you locate your poster number and Board.

Poster sessions

Presenters should stand by their posters during the assigned poster sessions on:

  • Tuesday 3 November from 5:00 to 6:00 pm (even numbers)
  • Wednesday 4 November from 5:00 to 6:00 pm (odd numbers)

Online poster gallery

You are invited to upload a PDF of your poster to the online poster gallery. Note that this is in addition to your printed poster to be displayed during the conference.

Attendees will be able to view your poster, your profile and chat with you via the online conference platform. We strongly recommend that you take advantage of this networking tool to present your research and make connections.

To upload your poster:

  • Log in to your Oxford Abstracts account
  • On your personal dashboard, click “edit” next to the title of your poster abstract
  • Upload a PDF of your poster by clicking on “choose file” in the Poster Upload field
  • Please upload your poster no later than Monday 2 November by 6:00pm
